Pictures

Pictures show the love we felt
We see through the haze of what has been
We see John's old back-scratcher
The one he kept on that dusty old shelf
There's Sue's delicious apple pie
We smell the aroma once more
Little Tim is on the tractor
Look at his pudgy hands wave
Across the yard's a tire swing
It sways softly in the breeze
There's Aunt May's flower bed
She hated when we played gold miners
Charlie's got cake smeared on his face
That was his 3rd birthday
Lilly's beautiful face is smiling here
Next to strapping Bill, her husband
Dill's wearing a dark gray suit in this one
Preparing to meet his girlfriend
Silly Jimmy is blushing here
He got Mom's pudding on his jacket
Look there, it's me
I was so young and carefree
How did that sweet little voice
Turn into a grown-up like me?
